This '65 Amphicar formerly belonged to Dan Aykroyd and is a good complete example that runs excellent. All gears in tranny work, but it is a bit noisy. Someone welded all new material in the rockers and fender area but did a poor job. I am installing new fibreglass rockers and lower fenders. The top is there, but it's ripped across rear bow. You could dive this into the water now, but it really needs a total restoration to be really nice...as most cars do  -  Gord

See how when you glue fenders on how well you can prepare all the metal work behind the fender.
Note the drain plug in the inner fender.  3 hours clamp time and you are done!
